Having your car regularly serviced is very important to keep it running at its optimum performance, saving you money in fuel costs and picking up on any possible problems or wear before they become too big. As qualified mechanics here at Powertune 4×4 Car & Service Centre we are able to provide you all the service options. So if your car is still covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, or it has accumulated a larger amount of kilometres, we are able to help you out. Once your vehicle is out of the manufacturer’s warranty we recommend that you service your vehicle every 6 months or 10,000 klm.

GENERAL SERVICING

Included in a General Service:

• Platetronic Test – Checking Braking capacity and Shock Absorbers
• Change Engine Oil & Oil Filter
• Check & Replace Air Filter if required   *
• Check & Replace Fuel Filter if required   *
• Check & Replace Spark Plugs if required   *
• Check & top up all oils & fluids   *
• Check & report on battery condition
• For Common Rail Diesel Vehicle, clean the air flow sensor. Reset all the service parameters in the vehicles computer
• Test condition of engine coolant
• Check & report all suspension and drive line components
• Test condition of brake fluid
• Check all hoses, belts & hydraulic lines for leakage or fatigue
• Check all tyres for wear and tyre pressures
• Full Check Sheet & Safety Report
• Road Test

If required we recommend the use of Wynns flushes to service the vehicle’s Fuel System, Air Conditioning System, Transmission, Power Steering System and Cooling System.
